More recently, I've chosen to write about women most folks never read about, such as Hannah "Annie" Shapiro(ANNIE SHAPIRO AND THE ClOTHING WORKER STRIKE), the 17 year old who started the 1910 Chicago Hart, Schaffner & Marx strike that led to formation of the Amalgamated Clothing Worker's Union (today's Workers United.
